Two Legends at the historic Ben's Chili Bowl
Wes Felton March 2015
March 19th after arriving from Reagan National Airport the Actor Antonio Fargas requested some soul food. Michael Newsome (The RPCard Foundation) suggested the Next Door Restaurant for late night dining. Upon arrival we were greeted with a kind welcome and smiles of recognition for the legendary actor, artist, musician and philanthropist. Wes Felton invited Mr. Fargas to return March 20th to join the wall of fame and meet the owner Virginia Ali.
March 20th, we arrived at Ben's Chili Bowl and received a wave from Virginia Ali as we walked towards the door. Welcome to Ben's Chili Bowl and the rest was historic from the moment of the handshake and the gentle hug from one legend to another. Memorable moments captured on film.
March 21, 2015 the RPCard Foundation Partners held an event sponsored by Frank Smith's venue. at the African American Civil War Museum in Washington DC. The host for the evening was patient and kind during the setup and especially after the event since we unable to end at 6:00pm as promised.
The exibits are so enlightening and causes a tear filled eyes the further you read and touch the artifacts from our ancestors. History is nothing with a story and a story is nothing without visuals and artifacts
Surprise Visit to the DC VA Hospital
Maurice Harrison, VA Employee, March 2015

The Foundation will selectively assist minority students and/or minority veterans who attend college at the senior level – who are one to two quarters/semester from graduation – but are on the verge of dropping out because they do not have the existing funds necessary to graduate. In such instances the Foundation will work directly with the college/university to ensure the student and/or veteran has the necessary supplemental financial means to complete what they started. The degree to which the Foundation can assist students in this instance will depend solely on the amount of cash on hand that is available through our fundraising efforts, or by way of grant dollars that are directly tied to this endeavor.
